Roshni Southard       

Roshni Southard is a Partner and Vice President of The Palmer Advantage, Inc. Since joining the Palmer Advantage, she has managed a variety of projects in the area of human resources for numerous technology companies. Human Resources consulting services provided have included the design and implementation of total compensation and benefits philosophy and programs, installation of human resources information systems, employee relations, management coaching and development, and day-to-day management of the HR staff and function for a broad range of technology companies. Clients have included Evant, Lucas Companies, Propel, San Francisco Symphony, Sybase, Thios Pharmaceuticals, WebEx, and the California Wine Institute

Roshni has over 18 years of results-driven leadership and management experience in human resources functions in high technology start-up companies and large established global corporations including Faraday Electronics, Western Digital and Philips Electronics. Her experience also includes active involvement in a number of high tech mergers and acquisitions.

Roshni is also an instructor at the University of California Extension Santa Cruz in Silicon Valley for “Developing Your Recruiting Skills” and conducts workshops on performance and compensation management, harassment in the workplace, and staffing related topics for NCHRA as well as client companies. Roshni holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics degree from St. Patrick’s College in Karachi, Pakistan. In addition, Roshni has also served on a number of non-profit boards including The Adult & Child Guidance Center and the San Jose Symphony.
